About this place
One diner did not expect much from the salad at a yakitori restaurant, but ordered a plate of raw vegetables anyway—and found it so delicious they kept going back for more. The same visitor described the yakitori as “fluffy and juicy”. Taking a break between skewers for some vegetables sounds like a good way to enjoy the meal.
At Yoidoki, Tanba jidori chicken thigh is served grilled in three styles: with yuzu kosho, with black pepper, or with Parmigiano. Choose by seasoning, or let the kitchen decide with an “assorted chef’s-choice skewers” order of 5 or 10. Visitors also single out the chicken wings as a house speciality; the menu lists them as “spicy fried chicken wings”, at 1 for 80 yen.
Between skewers, consider small plates and grilled dishes such as seared mature chicken with ponzu, lightly seared chicken liver, or pork belly grilled with yuzu kosho. The menu describes the chicken nanban as served with house-made tartar sauce, and diners who have tried it have also named it as a particular favourite.
Drinks include bottled beer and sake, as well as highballs, cocktails and non-alcoholic options. Dinner runs until 1 the following day from Tuesday to Thursday and on Sunday, and until 3 the following day on Friday and Saturday, making it an option for a late meal.
